Turtle in a Top Hat

I don’t know what it is with me and animals in outfits, but they make me stupidly happy.  If I had to venture a guess, I’d say it all started with reading the Chronicles of Narnia books seven times through as a child (not kidding).  So there is little wonder that I feel a strong affinity for the work of artist and illustrator Ryan Berkley.  Can you think of anything better than a meerkat in an aviator cap?  Find Ryan’s extremely affordable prints here or read about Berkley Illustration shenanigans on his blog Let’s Share.

I am totally with you! These are just the best, aren’t they? I’m actually the proud owner of one of Ryan’s “Kenny having a bath” prints - I look at it every day and it’s a total inspiration to me - he’s an utter legend! PS: Love your blog!!

I also share your love for anthropomorphism. I don’t mean little dogs being dressed up (although a few can get away with it). I really love these illustrations! I can imagine lining a hallway. So cool.

Melissa, you win for best word of the day - anthropomorphism. Thanks for bringing some class to the joint! =)
