Mother and pediatric occupational therapist Jennifer Hallisey recently featured a post on her blog The Write Start about creating writing rituals for younger kids. Her son Jack who is a ‘pre-writer’ has started sitting down in the evening with a blank journal and a jar a colored pencils to document the ‘color’ of his day.
