Toy A Day
![]()
Artist Joe Chang likes a good paper toy and he apparently he likes a good challenge as well. Every day for a year, Joe will be designing, constructing and posting a new paper toy from a basic template on his blog Toy-A-Day.blogspot.com.
What’s so great is that he’s also posting downloadable pdf files of the toys - so that if you were so inclined at the end of the 365th day you could have 365 new paper toys gracing your shelves. The basic template is pretty straight forward and could be tackled by a kid with decent scissor skills. AND if you or Junior have a favorite character you’d like to see in paper toy form, Joe’s open to suggestions (My vote’s for Max and a cast of Wild Things!) So pay a visit to his blog and offer up your ideas.
