From the editors of Small Magazine and Junior Society fashionistas, I’m grateful to Olivia and Christine for their latest guest blogging installment.

“From the closet and the dress up chest came a Halloween fairytale for a knight, a princess, the magical court jester and a mischievous imp. Clothes to dress up or down, for Halloween and play, or to wear every day.”

About out guest bloggers:

Junior Society members and Small Magazine editors Christine Visneau and Olivia Pintos-Lopez have been friends since they shared an apartment in Brooklyn over ten years ago. Between them they have worked in fashion design, furniture design, exhibition design, doll making, interior architecture, styling, sewing, graphic design and now with two each, child raising…but all on a small scale.

Small Magazine was launched to support creative people working on a small scale and for the smaller sized. It’s not just a magazine for parents and kids but a magazine for anyone who likes to make and finds joy and fun in things small. Small Magazine believes a return to grass roots creativity is good for the world and in a consuming society we can choose to support companies and makers and the independently creative.
